Trump’s Legacy—Why the Women’s Movement Can be Grateful to Him

There we were raging and placard-waving, speaking out and burning our bras about what we had discovered as vast inequities in the way women are treated.

We tried to help our brothers, fathers, husbands, male friends understand why treating part of the population anywhere as ‘less’ was not a good idea. We attempted to express our frustrations and rage at the history that still, Goddess help us all, lies heavily on our heads. ERA and Choice became ignition sparks for discussions into the night and around the family table.
