Nose to the Ground Today

Throughout the experience I like to refer to as ‘my life’ I’ve been most of the time with my nose to the ground. Uncertain, insufficient, I’ve watched with amazement and sometimes envy as others seemed to have been gifted with a mysterious power to put their lives where they wanted them, to complain when their lives deviated from that chosen form, to feel easy working from a set point of ‘I deserve.’

My failure to get to what I perceived was a hallowed inner sense of confidence and strength led to explorations…
